ANyone else completely disgusted with the Media during the NEwtown shooting coverage? The exploitation of the families and children that survived a massacre not moments before the interview. Not only that, but all the info that was passed that was totally inaccurate. I hardly ever watch the news because of doom and gloom that they glorify.

The "reporters" should be ashamed of themselve, but they are only looking to get ratings. Stupid questions..I watched part of the press conference yesterday with the medical examiner. "Did it look like the children were running away when they were shot?" , just totally assinine questions to glorify their own names. Digusting doesn't begin to scratch the surface of how low these attention/ratings whores are going.

I thought the media did a terrible job. Even if you changed from one network to another, same thing, inconsistent information later found out to be speculation that was untrue.

it's difficult enough to swallow the horrific news, then you get appalled by the classless news people

I refuse to watch any of it either. I try and not watch any TV news, it is mostly all negative and sensationalized. Gross.

I couldn't agree more. Besides ... The media is the reason things like this happen. I feel like an old curmudgeon. .

"How scared were you when you and your class were huddled terrified in a closet trying to hide from a maniac???" How the holy hell scared do you think they should be!!!??? Stupidest questions and all unnecessary!!! I have been staying away from the news....I have had it!!

I agree 100%. But we don't know if these questions are coming from the higher ups. It's a shame either way. Imagine being a reporter in CT and you get the call to ask these questions. I'd quit my job. Never mind trying to question the surviving children the day of. Did these idiots do it in fear of losing their job or just because they have no heart or wanted to move up?
