Taylor Marina Fire
MARSHFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Fire crews were called to a smokey scene in a Marshfield marina where several boats were damaged by flames.
Crews were investigating a series of early morning boat fires at the Taylor Marina in Marshfield. The fire marshal's office, ATF, and state police were on the scene. Firefighters extinguished flames on several boats. No one was injured but four boats suffered significant damage. The Marshfield Fire Department first received the call just after midnight. Firefighters encountered some issues once they arrived at the scene. "[There was] a lot of smoke, making it difficult for the initial firefighters. There was no issue with water pressure. The captain actually moved apparatus based on the heat being generated to make sure we didn't damage any of our apparatus in the firefighting effort,” said Chief Kevin Robinson of the Marshfield Fire Department. |
#^&#^&#^&#^& !
Just saw the news video. Bampy looks to be very close or one of the ones burnt. #^&#^&#^&#^& ! I know other people with boats there also. |
Heard it may have started in a storage shed before moving to the boats, doesn't look like it from the picks I saw. Looks like Jim's Big Mac is gutted. Suc*ks......Boy, fiberglass really likes to burn when it gets going.
