The wonderful state of Mass has "discovered" that 19,000 welfare cannot be reached. That leads me to believe one of two things:
1) These people are fraudulntly collecting OUR tax money when they shouldn't. which accounts for hundreds of millions a tear of wasted money.
2) These are names that could have been added to the rank & file of the "gimme group" during the 2008 election to "create" new voters for the Dems.

I go with my third option, which is BOTH!!!

Imagine that if each name on this list of were to receive just $500.00 a month? That would be $114,000,000.00 per year!

Hey, but what the hell, we're just rolling in dough here in MA didn't you know?

It's just one more thing to add to the increasing list of idiotic asinine things we have to deal with in this repugnant state.

That's why it's called Assachusetts!!!

If they can't be reached, it could be because they can't afford a phone. ;)

They tried that in Florida and it has cost more than they saved...

I've said this quite a number of times... there are enough people on the dole now and there is enough abuse that instead of the government giving away money for food, money that I've witnessed numerous times be used to buy cigarettes, there should be "Entitlement Stores" run and managed by Uncle Scam.

These people all think the government is so great. The government should control health care. The government should control firearms. The government should control the positions I'm allowed to have sex.

Let's see how great they think the government is when the same people on the dole are the ones that have to deal directly with the government's pathetic oversight and inefficiencies. People cannot be trusted to make responsible decisions when it comes to spending someone else's money. With that in mind, let's see how great the government is when the milk is sour or there isn't any bread in stock today.

I bet that would motivate people to get their asses off the dole.

I feel the same way about people on state health care. If you don't want to pay for it, then you shouldn't be waiting in the same line as people that are legally required to pay the $10k/year for health care. It's elitist and unfair - I know. But there is *no* other way to break the cycle.
