I just got back from the dog park, 14 degrees then add the wind. This photo looks colder.

stripermaineiac 01-23-2013 04:24 PM

MAKAI 01-23-2013 05:15 PM

Is the range open, I've not hit a ball since playing last Sunday in 40mph winds:).

MAKAI 01-24-2013 07:59 AM

No its not. I was working on some wireless transmitters that were on some really cold aluminum light poles. Wind would squeeze the tears right out of your eyes and freeze them on your cheeks.
Come on May !

ouch, not to be a jerk but it was 73 yesterday. Kids are all in t-shirts and shorts. We had temps in the 30s a few weeks back but generally warmed to 50s during the day. I cant say I miss winter in MA at all.

The Dad Fisherman 01-24-2013 12:50 PM

Jerk

Actually it's good to have the cold......need some ice for ice fishing

Not me.....easier to keep warm than keep cool. I was down in South Carolina for 3 years.....hated it.

Ice out (almost) Winni a few years back. The fishing was outstanding, the paddle back to the truck, not so much. The wind picked up at the end of the day and pushed some of the remaining ice into the bay we were fishing.

The salmon and touge were grilled on an apple plank cut from a tree in my yard with butter an lemon. The rainbow was caught late in the day and released.
And that is a "one man canoe". Totally different
