Drifting Flies???

I'm wondering if folks can give some comments on what type / size flies to drift as well as techniques and rod/line recommendations.

Anything will help.

Thanks,
Rob

I did well in a canoe with a 2" yellow/white deceiver (I tied it so it wasn't pretty) I found a little cove, let out about 50 - 60ft of line and slowly rowed around, it was non stop action, but the fish were all < 20".
For a rod reel, I spent around $350 - 400 on a 9/10 weight redington rod and a tioga reel with teeney deep sinking line.
I don't know a ton about flyfishing, but this setup (5 yrs old) has taken a beating and still works great.
