Possible season ending injury?

Vonn had tumbled on the piste halfway down in a race which started three-and-a-half hours behind schedule given the poor visibility.

Vonn hurt her right knee as she nearly somersaulted on the snow and was heard screaming in pain on the side of the course.

Yup season ending! "She was airlifted by helicopter to the hospital from the side of the mountain. Team medical director Kyle Wilkens says Vonn suffered two torn ligaments in her right knee, as well as a lateral tibial plateau fracture. She is expected to miss the rest of this season but her team expects her back for the 2013-14 season and the 2014 Sochi Olympics."

The fall didn't look too bad compared to others. If any chick can be ready for the Olympics, it is her.

She lands funny and her right knee really buckles...she's lucky she didn't rip it up more in the tumble.

I hope she's ready, skiing is a lot better with her on the slopes and a great medal chance for the US.

Supposedly torn ACL , torn MCL and broken Tibia. I hope she bounces back but her whole carreer is now in jeopardy
