WTB 4-6 oz Canal (Bullet) jigs
At least an 8/0 hook. Looking for about a dozen of each size. Can pick them up
|
I have ball jigs with 8/0 hooks in sizes 3 through 5 OZ and I have 2 OZ that some have 7/0 and some have 8/0. All the hooks are mustad 34184's. that's a big long shank hook.
I think you'll find that the bullet heads get stuck in the rocks far more often than ball heads in the canal. |
Mike I'd be interested in some jig heads from 3 to 5oz if you want to sell some.

OK , out of the hospital and ready to sell some jigs.
I have mostly ball jigs in 2 , 3 , 4 and 5 OZ. I have some smilin Bills in the same sizes but not as many. I have lots of 3 and 4 and a good amount of 2's but the 5's are limited. These are almost all just bare jigs. I do have some painted white in the Smilin Bills.First come first served. Lets say $1 each for 2 and 3 oz and $1.25 for 4 and 5 OZ. Try to buy $20 ( any mix of sizes) worth at a time if possible please. These all have big Mustad 34184 (long shank) hooks. Pick up at or near my house in Cumberland , RI. (north East corner of RI). |
PM me to arrange details.

Glad to hear your home. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
I can make 2.5, 3, 4 oz do-it bullet jigs with a 34184 8/0 for 1.50 ea and can make a custom bullet jig similar to andrus bucktails in sizes .5,.75,1,1.5,2oz for 1.50 ea and 3,4,5 ounce for 2.00 ea all made with 34184 or 34185 8/0 hook. If intrested can send pics through email of jigs and in a week I'll have my custom soft plastic mold in which features a 8/0 hook in sizes .5,.75,1,1.5,2,3,4 oz. thanks

I always get mine from Charlie's. The unpainted are such a good price that it makes it almost pointless to pour my own. I've got the molds and lead, but why bother. I try to get rubber on clearance and typically can rig a 4 oz jig head with 7-12 in. of rubber for under $2.
