3000 Posts
Only took me 12 years (11 years 11 months).
3000 posts / 3990 days = .7518 posts per day. I guess that I have a lot of reps to get to where BFL is. You guys have been more than a family to me, and I'm happy today that most of my family is now on the site. Thanks to John, the old skool guys, and all of my past and current friends. I was planning to coincide this announcement with the TFCTFN, but so be it. Love you guys! Rick |

Remember Rick jumping a lady after a return trip from Cutty ,, Mickey doing a flip off a cliff and still have a picture of Mickey in my head covered in ferry waste on a sunny day .. my kind of people ,,,. Congrats Rick ,, Here's to 3000 more .

Tagger, that was quite the trip. My favorite was when we were on the way back on the ferry and they covered the "Pull" handle on the pressure release valve with duct tape labelled "Mikey don't!"
Since Dave chimed in (long time, brother), another good one was when I brought Jess and all of her friends out to Ant Hill one summer day, and Dave stopped by to tell me that Mikey was at Mission Bell, so we followed him off the beach. I came up the hill past the campers not to see Dave at the ranger station, but a Ford Astro van with a guy in a gold lemay speedo trying to lift the van out of the sand. We were stuck. We sat there for a while (couldn't move, as other trucks had come up behin us and stopped) and finally the sugar daddy got out from behind the wheel (he was dressed like Charles Nelson Riley in a 70's jumpsuit). Eventually Whit and the other rangers pulled the van out and we got to the south side and saw Mikey (but Dave had gone by that time). Always a choice story to be told when Mr. Manzi is around!:rotf2: |
