Busted emblem pro 5500
 

I have an emblem pro that last year while removing the reel from the reel seat the front half inch of the body snapped off inside the reel seat. For a temporary fix I shaved down the broken end with a dremel but I don't really feel comfortable sticking this reel onto another rod this way it just doesn't seem to snug in properly.
Has anyone experienced this before?? I know this reel isn't produced anymore so can I buy a new reel body somewhere and if so does anyone have recommendations where?? Thanks Rich

just tape it on and have at it

I appreciate the offer jay but i don't necessarily want to get rid of it. I like the reel for certain applications. Do you guys mean just wrap some tape around the front of the reel seat once its snugged into place??
