Capturing woodworking videos

I've been watching a lot of woodworking videos on Youtube abd websites like New Yankee Workshop Online. Some of these videos are only up for a week. i want to capture these videos so i can watch them again at a later date. It used to be these types of videos would be mpg , etc but now there are no file download options , just the videos you click on.

Any programs (freeware preferred) that will capture these videos so I can store them??

Simple...

There is a browser extension for Firefox (and I think a Chrome one now too) that takes care of everything for you.

They walk you through the process on there also. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info Johnny. I know that in the past when I used Firefox it was great until i added even a single app then it had all kinds of problems. i do have chrome on my laptop and never had any issues with it but i admit i seldom use it. I will look into Chrome and perhaps add it to my desktop just for capturing the vids and i know it also works great for watching streaming video of the NBA playoffs that are not on normal TV. :)
