I'll admit it helps if you know characters. Getting these guys on camera was probably the most difficult thing I ever had to do. It involved a lot of begging.A lot
Someone suggested to do something like this on history of the Ditch and all I can think was "I am going to need a bigger camera to fit Slipknot head into one shot"

Zeno had been pumping this issue up bigtime as Dave Anderson aka Canalman took the lead on this one! Gotta say......Zeno was right!! Dave Anderson did a fantastic job as did the entire SCJ crew!!! I never know where to start??? So I started in the plug related articles.....Frank Pintauro's interview with Stan Gibbs was great!! Dave Andersons articles were awesome!!! Round 2 with the new issue tonight......think I will have to watch the videos this evening!!!:uhuh:

Almost got some work done this morning,.....then saw the SJ on my email and BAM....read Anderson's articles about the surf 50's and couldn't do a thing the rest of the day.....AWESOME ISSUE!!

Good article there Canalman, thank you

I also really enjoyed Charlie Soares article :btu:

Signed up for a subscription yesterday, that 50 article was great and a little cruel at this time of year. My anticipation of the season was already at a ridiculous level. I spent the next hour looking at google earth for spots like the ones described. Awesome job.
