Yes , we should be having 50 degree days and mostly not freezing at night. Oh well , we just happen to have gotten a couple of cool weeks at the wrong time.

Oh wait , no its global cooling! :)

Crocuses were already blooming.
Spring is a relative term, but mainly when high temps are consistantly in the 40's, it's spring!

Raven 03-22-2013 11:38 AM

nope
well not for me....
it's like a personal thing
when the first morning arrives
that i hear the ROBIN song
the one that they start the morning with....
that for me... is day ONE
but my weather watch is for when i can more safely
begin using the non heated greenhouse again...

Raven 03-22-2013 12:44 PM

snowing here right now :af::yak6::rocketem:

HugeDinghy 03-29-2013 07:28 AM

might just be the hangover though

striperman36 03-29-2013 08:41 AM

we should be getting another shot of cold air this coming week, normally spring starts sometime after the sox home opener

I think the weather has broke here...warmer days ahead...snow all gone...be cutting grass soon....plenty of peepers ducks getting ready to breed in the pond...:)

Rockfish9 03-29-2013 02:25 PM

Temps may not say it but... frogs are peeping.... cardinals are singing their mating songs.. turkey's are gobbeling up a storm and the chipmunks have emerged from their winter slumber....the air though cold.. has that fresh smell about it.. it's spring...

This spring has been put off till 2014!

Swimmer 04-04-2013 08:28 AM

I had my first deer tick and first mosquito a week ago.

striperman36 04-04-2013 09:39 AM

we should be above average, barely, by the middle of next week, the long range temps from the cfsv2 model is showing the winter queen is not ready to relinquish the scepter any time soon

Raven 04-04-2013 12:29 PM

warm out there T'DAY
yesterday was anniversary of most numerous tornadoes at once
and it was windier than a beotch

Higgie 04-04-2013 05:18 PM

Got the first sunburn of the year today. Happens this time of the year and I never learn that brimless winter hats don't help the cause working outside.
