Fish Baton

So my company had a baseball themed sales award night not that long ago and one of the prizes they gave out were small Louieville Slugger bats with the person's name on it and what their award was. Well, one of the salesmen didn't want his so he gave it to me. I thought, this is perfect for a fish bat. So away I went to customize it.

so I went to work puttying over the engraving, and sanding down

But then I decided that I wanted to paint it like a lure, I mean after all, what's more ironic than a huge lure knocking out a fish
|
so I drilled out the eyes and used a rasp bit to smooth out the hole

then a little net scale treatment, and a coat of clear. Now just waiting for the eyes I ordered and then epoxy.
