was that article in Cape Cod Today online news an April fools joke??

Mikey, I cannot tell if it's off handed comments or if the Sheriff's dept is serious. I really hope they are as I will load every gun I own, get whatever documentation I need to be legal and take up full time seal hunting At $20 a head I know I can make $500 a day.:jump1:

My 1943 Swiss K31 would love to get some good use other then punching holes in paper. 174Gr FMJ might even make it through a couple seals at a time.

Hell, I know at least a dozen fishermen that would *pay* $5/head to kill the seals. Too bad with so much truth in the article, the actual focus was just an April Fool's Joke.

You know someone is not going to "get" the joke and start blowing them away. Let's hope at least.

Best thing you can do in my mind
is to record on video seals stealing fish
off the beach from a fisherman's line.
Post it on you tube... over and Over.

Unfortunately that won't do anything...to the tree-huggers all they would see is that we are hurting the fish, not the seals stealing the fish

there's gotta be a way to show how
invasive the damned seals are...
and how much damage they're doing.... :huh:

i always thought bacterial levels rising
from seal sh!t and beach closures because of
contamination would be their demise.

the problem with them is similar to how
cute they LOOK same as deer and porpoises
but piss them off and they can F you up in a heartbeat.
