big opportunity for you lure making guys
 

I know years back we were discussion how freshwater bass fishing led many of the techniques used now for stripers - wooden plugs, pikes, poppers, then plastic, sluggos, jigs, etc.

Its been 20 years since I was in the hunt for largemouths and things have changed, there are new lures and one is called a chatterbait. I read some articles and picked up a few. I am blown away by the action of this thing. Its basically a jig with a loose blade in front that causes the jig to vibrate and pulsate making the skirt and trailer dance around. I attached a few pics. The action is amazing and it makes a silent lure like a jig give off huge vibrations.
This thing would be KILLLER in the salt for stripers and fluke. I am sure of it. If you tossed this out in an outflow, let it sink and just raised the rod tip it will cathch the currnent and wiggle its a$$ off. Also casting to structure, bouncing the bottom. Someone needs to make 1-2-3-4 ounce versions, using a white bucktail. work out the enginerring of a bigger blade and your golden. Im serious. This will be a killer striper rig. I cannot build anything so Im out. once your famous, shoot me a few a year. Imagine drifting a jig for fluke, squid strip on hook and your jig is wiggling with the squid strip going wild. Its an amazing sight. Please someone build this!

ive been using these for the last 3 years for mostly early season stripers, they work killer in the outflows and back bays.

there is a few companies that make bigger versions up to 2 or 3oz for muskie and big walleye.

the issue is the hook is still thin and the way the blade is attached, but im sure there is a way to make a big saltwater version with beefed up hardware.

They do make some saltwater version. alot of guys use them for redfish here in florida. But yes a 3-6oz would be nice.
