Auction for collectible plug to benefit The One Fund Boston
1 Attachment(s)
I am auctioning off a plug I made and had a Bruins player from back in the days of old when they wore no helmets and we had no terrorists. I brought it to the TD Garden yesterday and John Bucyk signed this plug for me. He signed it and also wrote his number #9 and also H.O.F. 1981 meaning Hockey Hall of Fame 1981 the year he was inducted. He came into the NHL in 1955 with the Red Wings, traded to Boston 2 years later and was the highest scorer on the team(I think Bourque is now though) He was an awesome hockey player and he is a great person. He still works for the team, never left the organization all these years. I gave him three others like this and he said he was going to give one to the coach, so I thought that was cool. This is certainly a one of a kind plug. I will even throw in a stand for it if you want.
I am donating 100% of the proceeds to the One Fund thru my wife's place of work since they are matching all donations so twice as much will go to those who need it. As I understand the purpose of which is to raise money to help those families most affected by the tragic events that unfolded during Monday’s Boston Marathon. www.onefundboston.org I will cover the shipping if needed. I am hoping this auction will raise a good amount for all the effort that went into getting this plug. I know you guys will be generous and bid high and bid often :) The auction begins now and will end next Monday at 2:50 pm. |

And he is a Ukrainian/Canadien not a Native American as he was mistakenly thought to be by a Boston writer and from then on known as Bigfish, he did like them, his friend who makes the team's jerseys was really impressed, Chief wanted to fish with them, I told him I can make some others for him to fish with because the bluefish would make a mess of these. Someday I'll show you the pic he sent me of a 12 or 15 lb rainbow he caught on one of my handcarved swimmers in pink pearl. |
