Point Judith Pond from shore?
 

My wife and I are renting a house next week, on Great Island in Galilee. I'll be doing some fishing at night on the breachways and 'Gansett beaches. But since the house is practically across the street from Pt Judith Pond, I was wondering if there is any quality fishing from shore, as that would be so close. I've heard that the Great Island Bridge can produce a bass or two. Any other spots to catch stripers, shad, anything??

Problem with fishing from shore is access. Most of the waterfront property is private except for the streach of shore that borders the escape road.
