Orca and Whales

On our trip out codding Monday first thing we saw leaving Green Harbor was the Right whales feeding really close to shore just to the south. Next thing the 3 of us see is the really huge dorsal fin of a male Orca to the rear of the boat. All 3 of us concluded the same that it was an Orca! Last thing we expected to see and got a really good look for 20-30 sec before it disappeared.

We got really good looks of the Right whales upon our return as they were almost blocking the entrance to Green Harbor! If they are still there you can probably see some really good shows right from Duxbury Beach. The water was loaded with bait.
