Koch brothers considering purchase of Chicago Tribune!

The billionaire, and conservative, Koch brothers are considering purchasing the company that owns the Chicago Tribune and tthe Hartford Courant. Who hasn't fantasized about striking it rich and then getting back at those who attacked you?

Anyway, the journalist's union has objected (more of that liberal tolerance). Here is part of the statement released by the journalists union...

"Whoever comes to own these mastheads needs to understand that protecting newsrooms from ideological taint is no small thing...The future of American journalism depends on the ability to print truth, not opinion"

Honest, that's what they said, and it wasn't intended to be a laugh line!

Maybe the "future" of jounalism depends upon the ability to print truth over opinion...apparently, the "present" health of journalism doesn't depend upon same...

That line was delivered by folks who call themselves professional journalists, and they see nu hypocrisy or irony.

The Koch brothers could break the Guiness Book Of World Records for "having fun", by walking down th ehalls of those liberal rags handing out pink slips.

"Clarence Page! Your services are no longer needed, I suggest you send your resume to Pravda or The Daily Worker"

Newspaper Union Declares Koch Brothers Unfit to Own Newspapers

That quote is the epitome of what's wrong with medians politics today. It is only true if my side believes in it

well...if you happen to believe this:

"Liberals are capable of independent thought and can see the big picture and separate the good from the bad and weigh their judgements. Liberals are mostly very educated and are in careers that use their creative minds."...

and most everyone else....is not ......

then it makes perfect sense...doesn't it?:uhuh:

"liberals" are not idealogical...they are superior....just ask one:biglaugh:

Right, you don't entertain such vindictive thoughts, you don't think like that. This from the guy who says that tea partiers are racists.

I humbly bow to your moral superiority, sir!

Get over yourself already...

You better edit your message, Scott is going to point out the typo.

I only do that to poke those that pretend to be superior....you'd think the "superior" would have better spelling and grammar wouldn't you?.....maybe it's just a state of mind:devil2:

I always thought you did it b/c you were petty?

you can call it that...I find it amusing when someone lecturing in a condescending tone and yammering on about how stupid and ignorant everyone else is doesn't know the difference between "their" and "there" for example....or how to pronounce "corpsmen" or so many other examples...which is different than typing too fats and junbling letters.....you see it's not about the spelling or grammar...it's the arrogant air of superior standing and intelligence that make it so amusing....and egregious...and worth noting:love:

if Jon Stewart ponted it out it would be brilliant observation:uhuh:
