Somebody.......please tell me again why in the world I am leaving to go to Hatteras for two weeks this Friday?????:smash: :smash: :smash:
Never fails...... NICE FISH!!!!!! |
Is it because you are sick and tired of catching really huge fish? :fishslap:
|
is it because you love catching 8 inch bluefish?
|
Bigfish....the only reprieve is the dreams of that 113 lb cobia I posted on another thread.....:)
And Mr. Kav......:p Though 16" specs are REAL good eatin'...................and believe it or not, 8" sea mullet and blowfish taste even better |

Red drum? They are bigs on the piers and surfs, from what I heard.
|
Notaro- Yep, red drum from the surf, and they are supposed to be awesome to catch, lb for lb, more of a fight than a striper (from what I'm told, it's all catch and release, as they aren't much of an "eating" fish, though some people do eat them, but C&R is good, cool, and fun, too!).....
Unfortunately, red drum season down there is mid to late fall, and then again in early spring.....they are all but gone this time of year.... Someday I'll be down there for that, though......:) |
Have a great trip Steve in Mass. We wnat a report when you get back. Enjoy. :gu:
|
Thanks.....
I'll be checking in once or twice tomorrow, but I have a chitload of stuff to do, so until about July 1..... Be good guys, have fun at the get together, and as always, catch lot's of big ones.....:) |
#^^^^^^^^^^^& - fixed - thanks (forgot to upload the tourney page :rollem: )
