Work, Yard work.

Need to check how my local fishin' hole made through the winter storms.

So what's up for the weekend?

Following up with Dr's today, and catching some striped ones.

Going to try and get out in the yak this weekend, work in the garden, maybe a few pops by the fire Saturday night.

Yak fishing before I friggin kill someone.......and drinking heavily.....before I friggin kill someone!

Rock climbing with the Boy Scouts saturday (Hudson River valley), hit the CT river for some fish Sunday.

First outings of the year with Ty, hopefully we find some fish.

Derby Day party to watch the race with family and neighbors. Kentucky Derby marks the day of my last cocktail....16 years ago.

Kayak Center - Demo Day weekend, May 4 and 5

Posting for anyone in the RI area looking to get out and try before you buy. Bring 5 canned goods for the North Kingstown Food Pantry and get out and paddle.

Fri - get boat ready after work and have a couple cold ones

Sat & Sun - My son pulled his groin so no soccer for him. His loss, my gain. Fishing all weekend!!

Got a bachelor party this weekend, staying in Middletown, RI, gonna try to sneak out and wet a line in between the debauchery..

Going to finish up all the yard work Saturday so I can have some fun on Sunday. I'll probably golf Sunday and give it one more week before I splash the boat, don't need a boat ride too early.

Started a new derby ritual where we get Kentucky Fried Chicken, the kids love it and are psyched!

Couple of little league games.

Baitboy is taking his SATs, they grow up too fast.

Stop in at Plug show for and hour to see some people and catch up then down to cape pad and do more work and may even take a few casts as I hear they are getting them to keeper size down the street. Enjoy the nice weather

I plan to relax
first day off in a while and I hope to spend some of it throwing stuff in the water somewhere

Baseball tonight (great win for the boy...3 for 3 w/ 4 rbi's) Working tomorrow and spending Sunday in the backhoe, this yard needs to be done!! Hope to get some fishing in later Sunday night.

Finally feeling good enough for the first time in over a month to try having my friday night beer to start the weekend. Trying to muster up the confidence to hit the river in the A.M. for some fishies, plant some more in the garden, some waaaaayyyyy overdue housecleaning and if I have enough energy and stay pain free through all that maybe another celebratory beer tomorrow night.

If none of the plans pan out I still feel better knowing I am at least starting to get my desire to get get back to normal living! :) been a long month.......

Fished the bay at 39 degrees this AM. NE 15 to 20knts. Not a pleasurable trip. No fish either.
Bday party for my 3 year old niece this afternoon. Someplace in the AM for my first shore keeper tomorrow

Today, remove tree that my neighbor let me cut down. Tomorrow, nurse my back :smash:
