Mackerel on Cape Ann
 

Mackerel have arrived here at Cape Ann...last few days there have been big schools of mac's just outside the harbor....surprised no one has mentioned getting or seeing mac's along the other cape....should be an occasional keeper striper around now that the mac's R here....:).....The auction here in gloucester paid about $1.60 lb. for two day old fish....:)

They that live here on the north shore can try the state pier for mackerel...they R a little skidish and it is a hit or miss.... also may catch a few herring did see a couple of pods Friday in the inner harbor.
