Where do I start????
Last night I decided to try a little fishing after work.
Left the office and headed south on Rte 3. before the Weymouth exit there was a minor accident in the left lane. What do you think the drivers behind them did? They pull into the middle lane. No waiting, no signal, just turn and drive. I had to slam on the brake as one particular idiot cut right in front of me. Fortunately the this genius, I was able to stop in time. Unfortunately guy behind me wasn't..... OK, so I had a minor fender dinger. He hit me, no injury and both vehicles were drivable. The police that took our statements then notified me that my license had expired (Crap!) but that was all. I figure I could renew it online today no problem. I go online and log in to renew it when I get a warning notice that I can't due to an outstanding parking ticket.....in LYNN.......from 1997! I haven't been anywherer near Lynn in over 20 years! I was able to renew my license within the past 10 years, register 3 vehicles and never had any issue with outstanding tickets. Now I have to wait and see what information and response I get from the Lynn parking director. It's a case of someone transposing numbers, and unfortunately until they fix their mistake, I'm screwed. Anyone else having a stellar day like mine? |
How was the fishing?

Didn't go, I just turned around and headed home.
I didn't want to tempt fate any more. Some good news....I was able to renew my license, so I have one less worry. :smash: |
I didn't think you could renew your license on line after it expired. Were you able too?

I got the confirmation email that stated "The requested license renewal has been successfully processed on 05/17/2013 at 12:42:05"
I did email the Lynn Parking Director explaining my scenario and asking for help to resolve their system issue, worded nicely, sice it was a mistake in their records. I did have a good weekend. catching my personal best largemouth bass. Heck, it was the biggest largemouth I have ever seen! She was approx. 27-30" long and well over 10 lbs. She was handled carefully, photographed on my cell phone, and released unharmed to grow even bigger! |
