kids and bag limits
 

i;m taking some kids sea bass fishing, between 7-10 yrs old. are they allowed 4 apiece or just the adults?

I always read it as limit per person, regardless of age or gender. We always let each kid take their own limit on my boat as long as they are are the ones that actually caught it, no "party" limits.

Each person, kids are people too. :)

Commercial I asked the same ?? They said its up to the officer, if he thought the kid was big enough to contribute then he was commercial fishing!

So reverse it and I would say same goes for recreation YES they can, but the other question is or do the kids need a Saltwater lic??

Generally, in most states, kids under 16 don't need a license or be in the federal registry.
