Cuttyhunk via Boat Options

Hi All!

I could really use your help.

I do not have a boat (not yet!) But, my friends do. :-). We are planning to fish Cuttyhunk via boat.

Any tips or ideas on boating "logistics" for Cuttyhunk? e.g. mooring or anchorage options?

Do I sound like a surfcaster? He..he..he..

Thank you for your much appreciated help with this.

Moorings can be rented inside the harbor. We always drop the hook outside the harbor to save some money.

The moorings inside the Cutty harbor fill up early starting in early July.. esp on weekends... on weekends they are usually all gone by around 3PM... It is a very popular overnight stop for sailboats/powerboats traveling between LI Sound and Cape Cod/MV & Nantucket
