Yak Rats "Scramble" Most Weekends
 

We all get out most every weekend so if you are headed out and looking for company....post it in here? I fish south shore to Cape mostly but would love to try some North Shore? Any weekend but a Holiday weekend! I am always looking for company so let me know!

If anybody has the nuts, I'll be looking for some company to launch out of Herring Cove Beach form 6/21-6/30. I like to fish for a few hours at sun up. Always get the topwater bite in the same spot. No fish finder or GPS needed, I know where they are. The only downfall is I had some sort of large dorsal fin following me for a short time last year. I was out there the next two days though without a problem.

Been wanting to launch from there for awhile....might have to bang in and join you one day?

I launched from there yesterday and got 2 on topwater so they are already in residence..

I do really well on white needles. Once I get about 100 yards from the pots I start trolling it. If I can get to the birds without getting slammed I start casting and working it like a pencil. Usually I get into doulble digits before the fleet arrives. It's not unusual to get multiple fish over 20#s. I will call it quits after that because of the baby/wife, but verticle jigging and tube and worming, will get you fish all day once the boats and high sun push the fish down. Let's try and set this up.

Mike I am in....tell me the day....weekday preferred! Early morning works for me fine!

I'll have to look at a tide chart (we want moving water out there). I'll check out the 10 day forcast a few days before I go to make sure we won't get fogged or blown out. Now I'm excited. Maybe we can get John (LIFISHVT) to come with us too.

I would freakin love to join you guys, but that's a hike for me, may be worth a drive though!
