rough forecast

Hey,

John is right. Increasing east wind (it is already blowing 20+ at BB tower) with building swell from the south. Winds forecasted to shift to the SW @15-20+ by evening. Listen to Noaa and you will pick-up the rest.

My go to for quick computer weather is www.wunderground.com.
You can set-up your own region. This site has great current conditions page along with the standard marine foecast, water temps, swell foecast, radar-both local and regional, and a loop to show you which way the rain/front is heading.

Be careful of the ground swell tomorrow.

Good Luck

Macey - if I go out at all today it will be tonight but that's 50/50 at best...

mrmacey 06-13-2003 08:22 PM

it wasnt that bad

just got home 9:25pm fished from noon on was mostly out around beavertail wasnt bad at all couple down pours just sat inside alot of blues around got about 10 one schoolie and raven had this big fish on lost it boatside lol! so my boat is still 0/0 on a keeper but ive seen rougher days in the summer got to go wifes home:smash: she is not to happy i stayed out so long so i have to stay with baby tommorro all day while she goes out i dont know where this storm was cause the water around jamestown was like glass in most places was a good day!!

Raven 06-13-2003 10:07 PM

lost my keeper boatside........

this fish was huge.....but unfortunately i was trying to make sure it was a striper and not just another bluefish and i horsed it a bit to much and pissed him/her off just enough that it made a quick run and actually straightened out my damn wire leader to my ultimate shock and horror. An important lesson, i have now learned as i was a little over confident in my leader as the hookup was SOLID. This keeper swam away with my LURE still attached. Fishing with Mr Macey was the "best time" i've had for a long time. The guy is alot of fun and has ultimate class to be sure. I look forward to going again .We had a blast catching bluefish and came very close to getting into some real nice stripers but they seemed to be only feeding mid -range to deepwater with little to no top water action seen anywhere we traveled.
