Apparently some guy lost all his rods and reels off the top of his car. Yak stayed put. I believe Spence ran over all of the guys gear

It was certainly lashed down at least...the problem was he was doing 80+ mph. Thank god the yak didn't let go...The sound of all those rods and reels crunching under my car was painful to hear. Thankfully I don't see any damage to my vehicle.

And then on the way home I was stuck for an hour just east of Groton. Good size boat flipped upside down on 195.

Not a nice day for water sports on the highway.

did he have some kind of rod rack on the car or were they just tied to the roof rack? I am thinking of getting a roof top rod rack and wonder if one failed so I can avoid it!
