Does anyone here make jig molds

? I have a jig I want molded so I can pour. I can't find a mold on the net. The jigs are perfect but the hooks are crap. I want to pour the same jig with a better hook!

You can make molds from bondo they don't last very long Do-it will custom make molds, but im sure your going to pay big for them.

Carve a model out of plasticine. Imbed the hook you want to use. Then make a high temp rubber mold.

I did not know that. I'm going to check with them. I am not handy at all and would rather just pay to have it done right as long as its not ridiculous. Thanks guys

You can also make them out of hydraulic cement, bought in a 1-gal container from Home Depot. It has bettter temp resistance.

Rolm do not use anything with water in to pour lead. when the molten lead hits it the steam from the moisture will blow up in your face. TRUST ME

Westportmafia Do-it sells blank molds to make custom molds. they won't make them for you. sorry my bad.

Smooth-on ReoFlex urethane rubber. Has a temp rating 600+ degrees.

I use it for rubber and it lasts a very long time. smooth-on.com
