I've taken up knitting and net mending.

Guess I'm not missing much.

Heard a few scattered small fish, one comm boat we know had a BE between lobster strings, but that was way east...

water is almost always warmer way to the east. Old timers used to say that if you're catching longfins just keep heading east.

As far east as the water has been the past couple of years catching penguins isn't all that bad.

Great read would love to give it a try this fall but wonder if the fishing is as good as it was in 1968

I've seen Buddies I.H. pickup truck loaded to the point of bass falling off the back heading for Bishops fish market.

Haven't been out there in 40 years, bout all I remember is the pop ups,, gets your attention! Rubber bungy & hand line
