Trig'rr Clamps?? or some such

Anyone know where I can get some. 3 or 4 of these.

For those that dont know they are reel clamps with a trigger, for comfort
and better control of your conventional rod.

Anyway I would like to get 3 or 4 of those.

Any ideas??

trigger doodads

I bought the big one for my abu 7000c3 for a rod without a reel seat. Before you shell out the big bucks for one check if they have improved their design. The female threaded pieces that go through the reelseat are round not square like the carriage bolts that come with all large conventional reels. Once you crimp on the lock rings that hold them in, the threaded part can rotate. When you try to attach or remove the reel the female part turns. So you have to reach in with a screwdriver or needlenose pliers to hold it. I tried superglueing these pieces to the reelseat but the glue couldn't hold up to the torque of tightening. If you can figure out a way to use the black part without the hardware trigger clamp gives you, buy one. Otherwise don't waste the money. Ask your welder buddy to put a trigger on the clamp from a squidder then have it chromed. trigger clamps hardware s*cks........see you on the beach...longshot

used them since the day they came on the market with no problem. you just need to go slow when putting them on, don't try an rush.

Better Man

Aha! You're a better man than me Capesam's. I did like the feel of the trigger when I had it on the rod. see you on the beach...longshot
