Good News Neptune Fans

I just got this message from the regional Rep From Pure fishing

I just came back from a Spirit Lake planning meeting. The new Mitchell waterproof spinning reel will be called the Nautil, which is the European name and will replace the neptune name. We will have a smaller
yellow one, as you know, and a small and large black rubberized version with
a 4.9:1 gear ratio, and both sizes in a non-waterproof version. we are also
working on a model smaller than the new small one. I'll keep you in the
loop, as soon as I know more and you can order them AND we can ship them,
I'll let you know!

Thats it guys the proto types are out but still won't be available till Mid summer.
As Soon As they are available I will Have them.

It should read "Submersible Spinners for FAR less than Van Staal prices"

That is good news as the current version is HUGE. I was looking at it again on Saturday and that thing is a Monster... But the smaller version should be worth the wait...

In the mean time, can't wait to check out that new Eon. The planetary gear setup just makes so much sense it's a wonder that it wasn't unveiled years ago... And the bigger drags should be better than the current drag even if the same materials are used.

can you tell us some more specifics? I'm curious about line capacity and how it works with braids.

Hi Guys
Logging in from my outlaws up north.

The reel is going to hold in the area of 265 Yds of 15 Lb.
From what they say the reel will handle all Barids
