Like beer? Like the movie 'Jaws'? Then read...
I think this is a very cool plan by Narragansett. Honor the man, crush the can!

for a minute there I was thinking Beernado was heading our way, which would be awesome!

Problem is, what's in the can is still Gansett.

Give gansett a second try Mike. Their summer ale in the tall blue can is delish

Robert Shaw, who would have turned 86 this year, played the hardened captain of the Orca,
the boat used to hunt the titular great white shark in the movie Jaws. Funny i don't remember ever seeing tits on a shark ..... must of been an A- cup. |

Doubt the summer will be in the commemorative can. It's OK but nothing special.

I felt like the summer was easy drinking, low alcohol, unobtrusive beer. My only gripe was that the pounders got warm too fast. |

I still remember the year that Gansett---the new Gansett which is the SOS as the old---sponsored the Striper Fest. Rained like a mother, mud puddles all over the place outside the tent, which inside, was filled with wet hay. Someone forgot to chill the beer. As bad as Gansett is cold, it really sucks warm. They finally managed to get some Gansett Lites down to somewhat drinkable temperature. |
