Fishing with old guys
 

This being the grumpy old pharts forum, my complaint is about fishing with old pharts. Lately all I've done is tie knots, help with fish, take pics of the old bastages catching bigger than me etc..its clearly interfering with my fishing. At least my photo skills are improving ,too bad the subjects are so damn ugly. I need a new wide angle lense to accomodate their gargatuan heads. I do learn a ton from these old salts though and we seem to have more fun than we should , so maybe I'll keep riding these chumps coat tails..:rotf2:

Christ Andy, how old are these guys you're fishing with? Aren't you in your mid 60's? If you consider them old, they must be like John R's age or something. At that age, they should put on their depends and sit in a chair on the beach and soak bait for a couple hours before heading to the early bird special for dinner.

They are older than dirt itself.

They must be almost as old as Seamule. But probably don't have the flatulence problem that he has.

Glad to see this isn't about me.

Not at all..only a few esteemed individuals here. And its all in sarcastic tone.

But then who will take you fishing when you reach that plateau???:biglaugh:

Thats easy, I'll still be riding my son's coat tails too..at that point he'll be complaining about fishing with old guys!

He fishes with one now!

It a problem cause I am usually grumpy, not a big fan of people and its one way I can get rid of most of em.

I know what you mean Andy. Got to keep an eye on them so they don't fall in or fall down and hurt themselves. So glad I'm not old.

There must be at least one member of the White Bucket Brigade willing to loan you their bucket for a good cause? :)

LOL P., the fallin down is the easy part, it's the gettin up that can kill ya. :hihi:

just don't fall on your reel and break it snapping it clean of at the reel seat, that can be expensive :hidin:
