How Old Is Too Old?
I met my mother for dinner last night, and afterwards she gave me a mini keg of Molson that she found in her garage while doing some cleaning. I remember winning it in a golf tournament raffle about 20 years ago and wasn't a big Molson drinker, so I never tapped it.
Anyone want to give it a try? |
Thanks, but no.

I once lagered a beer 12 years. It was in glass bottles and in a refrigerator all that time. Beer was most excellent. Closest taste comparison would be Chimay.
Anyway ,your mini keg in a garage with probably hundreds of temp fluctuations and who knows how much reaction with its metal container , I wouldn't go near it! :) |
If it were me and it came down to trying it or pitching it I would at least try it, spit it out and then I could throw it out without feeling bad about it :) This is only because I was raised to never throw anything away (thanks mom & dad for that)
I have a batch of plum wine I made in 05 that...well, lets say it wasnt the worst or the best thing I ever had. Cant just ditch it. about once or twice a year I dust off a bottle, drink three sips, and THEN I can bring myself to pour the rest of the bottle down the drain :smash: |
Just keep em... sneak them into the cooler during the ice fishing trip during the last day and see who pukes first
|
Bring it to a Benjamin Moore's store, have them throw it on the Paint Shaker for a few....then take it out side and take a .22 to it.......
|
HA! a shotgun would be better!
