Wonder if they are going to expand their e-commerce site for consumers... Maybe lower their shipping?? :O

Lower shipping would be great!

I bet they expand their lines, merrick carried a lot of wholesale stuff only.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out

Mudhole bought out Merrick's stock! Mudhole will still be Mudhole :rollem:

For personal reasons Merrick decided to close it's doors and on Monday, the sign out front said "out of business". It appears that a deal was made with Mudhole for the remaining stock which Merrick had in the warehouse. Todd from MH posted on the :bshake: :jester: site of the acquisition and from what I read not much will change at Mudhole, they purchased Merrick's stock but will never be Merrick tackle...sad day.

Oh well, I guess that means they take all that stock, throw a 10% price increase on there, and $15 shipping and call it a day. That sucks...
