Pretty soon it will be over, like it or not. :smash:

In past years we've had the "it's over" thread for the purpose of identifying the angler who lands the largest late season bass and has the nads to post it here in braggardly fashion, free of fear from public ridicule, castration, or porkfrogging. :angel:

Along with this accomplishment comes big rewards, of course, and I'd like to kick it off again this year at some point provided the boss is ok with it.

I would also like to get some more swag donated by youze guys, preferably a home made plug which will get thrown into the winners stash to keep it interesting and competitive. :lama:

Its anyone's guess as to when it will be over, but its usually just after its "over."

A blessing from the boss and some pledges from you, the loyal and chosen few, are all we need. :musc:

I'm good for a few plugs.

I'll throw some pluggage in.

What about smallest fish again too? Won that prestigious award a few years ago.

Yeah.....but it has to be caught on full size tackle. No fair fight crap allowed.

The Boss is good with this happening.

I will kick it off at some point (top secret) and post the rules. In short, you'll just need a decent pic of a surf caught fish and a little honesty with the tape measure. Fish can be either dead or alive, but don't kill one for the sake of a few plugs. Your entry will still be valid as long as you take a picture and post it here.

When it will begin is the big mystery, but we will end things up on our traditional day, which is Thanksgiving.

Stay tuned and if you're up for donating a plug or two, simply post it on this thread.

The problem here is that the guy who wins it will be fishing eels and have no use for a pile of plugs. Somebody ought to throw in a can of chewing tobacco, some farm animal porn, or something more useful for those guys. Maybe free false teeth?

How about some depends so you don't have to stop fishing. You can just clean up later.
