Kayak fish both days.....Bruins, Pats! Lots of projects going on! Beer on deck this after with a fire I think!:uhuh:

By 6pm I hope to check in at the Sand Dollar in Westerly. Its a throwback weekend for me Fishing the MS tourney pretty hard. Fishing for MSBA but hoping to see S-B friends along the way.

Headed to Falmouth for 'togs and stripers in the 'yak. Last salt trip of the year,
and hope it's a good one; haven't caught much this year. Had some pretty good
paddling, though. My fishing buddy finally pried himself loose from home for a day
too; can't wait to get out.

Saturday Working then a couple of chores and Bruins at 6
Sunday going to spend on the beach fishing Sea worms

can't make it. good luck to all who attend.

I would have done it. I need to get lots of errands (including Naked Thanksgiving today) done this weekend, though.

I went down last nite for a bit and hooked up with strider and ivanputski who were fishin for csa. It was more of the same disappointing trend. TONS of bait and no fish. Was a good time to shoot the #^&#^&#^&#^& and not freeze.
Sounded like csa had soco on lockdown with excellent participation from their memebers

So who won? CSA? Any good fish weighed in? Great conditions Sat night. Figured somebody would stick something big, somewhere...

Here are the final results as best I was able to jot them down:
1 - Pioneer Valley Boat & Surf Club: 70.27 pounds
2 - The Connecticut Surfcasters Association: 61.30 pounds
3 – Hartford Boat & Surf Club: 42.58 pounds
4 – RISAA: 41.32 pounds
5 – The Weekapaug Surfcasters: 19.12 pounds
6 – The Narragansett Surfcasters: 16.80 pounds
7 – Rhode Island Mobile Sportfishermen: 3.89 pounds
Massachusetts Striped Bass Association and Striped-Bass.com both competed but did not weigh-in any fish.

He had the biggest fish of the weekend at just over 21 pounds.

Nice conditions - full moon with cloud cover (for the most part) periodic light rain, somewhat onshore wind in some place, onshore in others. The least amount of people I've ever run into fishing that night.

There was a keeper that weighed in at 3.89 pounds?

probably a bluefish I would guess...

The forgot to tell him he needed to weigh it BEFORE he filleted it!
