A buddy of mine is into acting and gets these sent to his email, figured someone here may want to be famous (Clammer?)


Boston Casting is seeking real fishermen to appear as extras in an upcoming television commercial.

The commercial will shoot on Wednesday, October 23rd. This will most likely shoot on North Shore.

Shooting days are typically around 12 hours, so you must be available all day on Wednesday in order to be considered. Pay will be around $350 for the day.

We are looking for REAL fishermen who can bring their gear and have worked on a boat similar to the one pictured below.

Hmmm, Irish fisherman's sweater. Scrimshaw pipe. Squinty gaze...I think I could pull that off.

The part about being a REAL fisherman may be an issue. Let me see if I can find Captains Courageous on Netflix and I'll study up.

Whatever short comings he may have with knots will be overcome by his wonderful use of the english slang-ology. He even has a squint in his eye. Spence is to liberal - they'll keel haul him.

I would die if I turned on the TV and there is like a red lobster commerical with Clammer in it! :rotflmao:

It could be worse....you could see him in one of those commercials where he's sitting in one of those 2 tubs....:hee:

Whoever signs up for this keep in mind that pretty much any time after 4 Wed is gonna be a nightmare getting anywhere in or South of the city due to rush hour and Game 1 (8 PM first pitch)

Oh yeah and hopefully this isn't in Salem, cause the traffic has sucked worse than I ever remember this year with the Halloween crowds! Halloween sucks! For god's sake they weren't even real witches!

I think Clammer should have his own TV show. If one of you were enterprising you would create a webisode show for Clammer :rotf2:
