Anyone know a shop I can take a Penn reel to in Rhode Island? Close to Warwick preferably.

Buckos Fall River - what's wrong? Do it yourself?

While we're at it, I'm getting annoyed with my Penn 9500SS

When I'm reeling in, my handle will occasionally hit the side of my bailwire.. is there a simple solution to fixing this??

Jugstah,
I had the same issue with my 650.

The handle is bent. Bend it back out.

jugstah 06-20-2003 10:12 AM

so its not my bail wire, just the handle?

thanks in advance... how difficult would it be to bend it back out?

Most likely the handle mine take alot of abuse. I would say that the handle is more likely to bend in than the bail wire bend out.

I just held it tight at the connection, and gently bent it back, then I checked that rotation cleared the bail wire. Done.

Good Luck
