Hickory shad at hix bridge?

Any one out there know if there are any shad at hix bridge? I haven't fished for them in years and am thinking of taking a shot. Thanks

They were there in huge numbers. Last blow pushed them out towards the mouth. They may show back up but haven't yet. Fun as hell to target on lighter tackle.

And when they were there, there were zero bass on them. A couple of very small schools bluefish showed up and that was about it.

The bass that was smaller than the shad? That fish was having an identity crisis

How dare you! That was the third biggest fish I caught all year.
