i am running a new OS (7) on this rig
and i have musical ads poppin up unto :fury:
my S-B page.... DOH :wall:

there must be an App for this without
having to switch over to firefox browser

Lol

Use chrome. I have a loaded host file i can send you, will block 99% of the junk stuff on the web, including stupid hidden audio lol

i have chrome
maybe this ICON i clicked
was from the old OS as i imported
my old icons (oopsy)from old desktop
( the top hook one)
and it's running from the windows.old file
i'll do a comparison tomorrow with my
newer google chrome icon to S-B

no need as 8.1 is backward compatible with 7
or vice versa and i didn't have room elsewhere
to store all my stuff.... (external drive almost full)
and that way i can still grab some stuff as needed
but have better functionality overall

If ads are the problem and you're using Chrome..use the Adblock app.

what with already having to re-up the freakin oil tank (tomorrow)
wicked frosty up here....land of ICE and Pain....
no Fuffy snow and there's no natural "socked in" insulation yet
week ago the cold wind could burn ya as easy as a flame....

What do you have against Firefox,install Adblock Plus and no more issues.

I get that 7 and 8 are 64bit OSs so use Cyberfox as Waterfox is a joke and Palemoon is just slow.Adblock is totally compatible with all the 64bit variances of Firefox except Nightly which itself is highly unpredictable because its a Nightly build.Cyberfox dude.
