Rest in Peace, Sam Berns
I saw during the game last night that Sam Berns, local kid, passed away at age 17.
|
Saw that too John, very sad, way too young. That was great to see him smiling when he was with the players and that seemed like a nice donation the Kraft's made to help fight his disease. Thoughts and prayers sent to his family. Give your kids an extra big hug tonight.

Geez, what a tough break. Both his parents are doctors. Not sure of thier specialty, ut Sam made himself available for quite a bit of research. RIP.

I was a shame.
From the smile on his face, you could see a boy who was truly happy! |
Very sad. If you haven't already, watch Life According to Sam (should be on netflix). Sam's mom is a true hero for others who suffer from progeria.

Courageous kid right there, RIP Sam. He played his hand in life with the utmost dignity.
