jointing a plug question
Is there a rule of thumb or guide for jointing a plug. For example 50/50 gives xxx but a 60/40 give yyy.
The reason i asked i am playing around with a needle i turned and it screams joint me, Thanks in advance men. Skip |

If you look at a Habs he made it about 70-30 or less. I have built some needles and I made them like that and they were ok. I am not a real big fan of anything jointed but changed my mind a little this past year when I got hold of a Pichney jointed A 40 type plug, large one, and made one last winter had G . x ray it and and I'll tell you it is a winner. Looks like a snake in the water. I am making a few this winter as I think it will be really cool at night in black.

I find a jointed needle won't cast distance well
