chumster question

Is a chumster a production lure? Lex mabey? Can I buy one, or can they only be hoed, cause i can ho if I have to.

Slipknot 06-24-2003 09:08 PM

Good friggin luck hoing a chumster.

They represent about 3 or 4 hours labor and should be well compensated for if you should be able to aquire one.

I have 2 :D

TheSpecialist 06-24-2003 09:23 PM

NEXT2NUN 06-25-2003 03:49 PM

That must have been a stupid question, cause all I'm getting is stupid ansers. thanks for the help.

Striperknight 06-25-2003 04:33 PM

Chumbucket is one of the many cast of characters out here.
His work is outrageous and those lucky enough
to get one of his lures horde them. He has not posted out here
a lot lately. :(

Next2Nun, Chumbucket makes the Chumsters. He is a truely talented builder and puts his heart into his work. As far as the remarks you got , well it is to be expected. Go back and read your first post, comes off kinda ballsy IMHO. The builders don't just go giving away plugs especially if nothing is offered in trade ( mainly like a plug you built yourself or material for building plugs ie; stainless for lips ( sorry Russ, this was the easiest example) or what have you. Your best shot at getting any plugs out of anyone here (plug Building forum) is to start off easier. The Ho thing don't carry any weight unless ya build especially with a plug like a chumster. Do a search on Chumbucket aand you will see what I mean. His work is awesome.

rocketman 06-25-2003 05:05 PM

I wasn't wise cracking, I would really like to see one.

NEXT2NUN 06-25-2003 08:09 PM

Thanks Newell Guy, The hoeing was supposed to be a joke, I saw Chumbuckets lure in the raffle pics, I thought it was outstanding, thats why I asked.I did a search, for some reason the pics won't come up.

chumbucket 06-25-2003 08:56 PM

I'm not sure why pics aren't comming up...here's a few of my Hybrid swimmer I had some action on a couple of days ago- then the lightning started:rolleyes:

...Must be the database full thingy, sorry John R., I just read your post. I'll try to use an off-site database for pics from now on:angel:

NJCoastFlyFish 06-26-2003 07:30 AM

Chumbucket: I just want to say I admire your ability for patience and detail. Your not a builder who goes for numbers, but your quality shows with every plug I see on these boards.

In other words, I learned a lesson from looking at your plugs alone. Take your time, no rush, and the patience will pay off with the look of the plug.

I hope this wasn't too sappy, but you honestly helped me out, more like inspired me :claps: :claps:

Raven 06-26-2003 08:05 AM

how do you get your lure maker handle engraved on your lip?

And to all lure makers.... i definately think they should get signed!

Nothing like a bowl of Chumsters in the moring to make a pikieholic's tired bones feel better.
Creek Chum is at it again. I think I'll go hug mine. ;)

NEXT2NUN 06-26-2003 03:29 PM

Chumbucket, I thank you. You are truly an artist.

Slip, your right.

rocketman 06-26-2003 03:44 PM
