Yeah, and if and when the authorities catch up with them for "harrassing wildlife" they'll be singing a whole differnt tune.

The chances of them hooking that whale would only be possible if they were snagging it! Cetaceans (whales and dolphins) aren't as stupid as these anglers are. They can see that the fish in hooked and will bite the fish right behind the head.

It would be a shock and thrill of a lifetime to see one up close like that, but to do ANYTHING to disturb or interfere with the whales natural activity could be a criminal offense.

Some yes others not so much. I've seen a few and heard of more bottlenose dolphins hooked (in the mouth) by tuna fishermen at night.

Ah the infamous horizontal tailed tuna!!
