I was given some hooks as a challenge some time back, was told here tie on these. Well this is what I came up with. After a few guys saw them . they asked me what did I use on'em, half a chicken ! So that's what I ended up call them. my "Half-a- Chicken fly' The body is all schlappin feathers, with some Flat-Wing for the tail, some peacock as crest, this is the only one I kept, did a few outher in different colors, which he took to fish for Pike, Pickerel, or what ever.
