I was working at 15 Beacon st.and left at 15:30 as I was heading toward Berkly to jump on Storrow Drive, Beacon was blocked off.

I saw alot of FF trucks, as I drove on Storrow west bound I was able to take some picks, I shared them with a buddy of mine who is a Assistant Fire Chief he responded that 2 FF has perished and one is still missing.....

Just got off the phone with wifes brother in law.
His son & son in law are both Boston firemen.
Both had the day off.
Both are there now.

Really drives it home when they mention one had 3 kids under 10.......just rips your heart out hearing it. Deepest and sincerest condolences to the firefighters families, their friends and their brothers.

Wow. Very sad and an ever present reminder of those that run to the direction of fire to protect the rest of us.

Godspeed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lt. Walsh as we entered the fire service around the same time. He was a friend and a brother, he will be missed. God bless him and firefighter Micheal Kennedy and their families. Yesterday was a tough day, very emotional.
