Whats the meaning of a big piece of rope hanging from the rear bumper of a pickup truck, it look's like a horse tail???Mainly seen on the cape.:confused:

they are called sea tails...and they have been draggin along as long as I can remeber....what does it mean??? it means they can drive the beach looking for crap to tie to their bumpers!!!!! (sorry...couldnt resist!!!)

I love those big ropes, come by to se me anytime (only guys)!!!

Started in Wellfleet 'bout 20 years or so ago... Live in Orleans, locals hear used to tease the 'Fleetians, as they are called, we'd tell 'em "in front of every horse's tail, is a horse's arse!"
Nowadays you see them all over the lower cape, rope tails, and horse's arses ;)
