Bait

Three bait boats were at the State pier in Gloucester. Should be plenty of bait around for the next couple of days.

Send some down here. I haven't been able to fins any decent bait in RI yet.

How's the action up there.....coming this weekend for some diving and fishing.....are you going to be around?

Fly Rod 07-02-2003 02:07 PM

I will be out fishing by 6:00am the latest on Saturday somewhere between 2 miles off of gloucester breakwater and maybe up aganist the rocks over towards pebble beach, Braces cove or Salt island

I won't be up that early ths weekend, but I'll be there all day. Probably head north a tad from the breakwater........

Hard to find bait for the week end. Hard to believe that three herring bait boats unloaded there catch Tuesday and that there is no fresh bait. They were selling salted down bait.

to hell with the herring
jig up some scup

:)

Fly Rod 07-04-2003 12:35 PM

we don't have scup up in our area.

We have pollock which are scarce at the moment and we have macs when available. I'm not going to jig for two hours for a couple of pollock.
